LLMs allowed us to explore a wide range of product directions in hours instead of weeks— concepting experience flows, testing interaction models, and identifying edge cases early.
Gen-UI tools made those directions interactive, allowing us to prototype and compare them side by side.
The result was a mobile-first experience that brings the most important information into one place, helping customers understand what triggered an alarm and quickly decide how to respond.
To deliver a product specific to ADT, one that builds trust in their brand and delivers clarity to customers in a moment of an emergency, we refined the UI by hand.
Every interaction, hierarchy, and visual decision was shaped to make the next action immediately clear.
The same level of precision carried into the design system. Components were structured, states were defined, and everything was organized as a clean, consistent foundation for development.
10kR used a toolchain to power ADT’s alarm messenger redesign— Figma, MCP, Claude, Storybook, Playwright — all wired into a custom harness that turns design tokens into tested code and Jira tickets on a continuous loop.
This system allowed for easy wide system changes, and accelerated testing from our PRD to deployment.
ADT wanted an experience built to evolve, with modern infrastructure that made it easier to iterate in production. While humans still owned the decisions, we used AI agents to generate components, write tests and review code, making it faster to build, test and iterate.
